Junior League of Louisville – Louisville, KY

December 2015

We could not do what we do without the help from our numerous volunteers. In the spirit of holiday giving this month we are spotlighting one of our recurring volunteer organizations. The Junior League of Louisville gathers a group of members each quarter to help us package scarves and other scarf programming activities. We are extremely grateful for their continued support. As our December Face of Hope we asked our volunteers:

Why do you volunteer your time to support organizations like Hope Scarves?

“I volunteer to connect with the community, to serve others in need but equally deserving, and to help spread hope wherever I go.” – Nina Choi

“I volunteer because I believe in passing it forward. After watching my mom beat breast cancer, I love to support and encourage others through their journey.” – Brittany Harris

“I volunteer to pay it forward.” – Melanie Blake

“I volunteer with Hope Scarves because I have friends and family that have been affected by cancer. Anything I can do to help spread cheer is time well spent.” – KaiLee Viehland

“I enjoy giving back to the community and hope I can make a difference in someone’s life!” – Nicole Wigginton

“I volunteer to help others. I work at a hospital so I love to give a helping hand with anything.” – Junior League member
