Hope Scarves Partnership Program

Through our Partnership Program, your hospital or cancer support organization can share Hope Scarves directly with patients.

As many providers move toward a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care, working with us to establish a Hope Scarves program enhances the emotional care of each patient. Not only do your patients receive the scarf, a survivor story, and scarf tying instructions in a creative package, they become part of The Hope Scarves Community. We follow up with patients several times after receiving the Hope Scarf to offer support and encouragement.

If you choose to partner with us, you’ll receive training, communication materials, and ongoing support. You can customize the program to fit your needs. Our partners order anywhere from 10-600 scarves.

Programs are typically funded through hospital foundations, events, and corporate or private donors.  The cost of the program is $30 per scarf, which supports the Hope Scarves mission to share hope with people facing cancer through scarves, stories, and research.  We also have creative options for locations interested in the program with limited financial resources.

The Hope Scarves program has enhanced the way we support our patients. Our nurses look forward to sharing each cheerful package with patients because we know it will bring them hope.

We offer a Hope Scarves packet to every patient that comes in for treatment.  The connection to other patients who have been on this same journey and a scarf to take home is like a little gift to brighten their day.

One patient opened her package and she smiled so big and shed a couple tears. The scarf had sunflowers and her grandmother had beautiful sunflower gardens when she was a child. It was an immediate thought of joy.  She told me this was a true sign that she had a guardian angel to go through her treatment with her.  I am so happy we have Hope Scarves to offer our patients.
